Funeral Service Planner - Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services, Diocese of Oakland
Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services is seeking individuals to serve as Family Funeral Service Planners. These positions will help families pre-plan funeral arrangements, provide peace of mind, and help reduce the stress on families when a death occurs. We are seeking mature, active Catholics with prior experience in customer service or sales, with a strong desire to serve. Candidates need not have a background with funeral homes or cemeteries, and typically come out of the professional world. We will provide all training. The positions are a full-time and offer flexible hours. An excellent benefits and compensation package, with good earnings potential is offered. Being bilingual is a plus. Positions are available in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.

Candidate should be motivated, dedicated, and a self starter, desiring a career opportunity. Qualifications include candidate having a Bachelor’s Degree in education, theology, religious education, social work, or the equivalent; previous experience in working with youth; knowledge of Catholic theology; experience in teaching and training through a youth ministry certification program; and be computer literate. Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful.

Bilingual in English and is Spanish helpful.
